The festival will be held outdoors in the forest on the grounds of Bottega Farm Inn & Studio. You are encouraged to bring along a blanket or lawn chair to sit on as you might find this more comfortable for your bum and/or your back.
FOOD & ALCOHOL
There will be food and beverages available for purchase throughout the festival. Drinking is fun and we would like for people to have fun. This also includes drinking water and staying hydrated because passing out isn’t fun. Unfortunately this isn’t a BYOB party so you’ll have to leave your own alcohol at home but we will have beer & wine for sale in the cafe. All other drinks must be sealed. This being a family event, feel free to bring your own edible snacks and picnic supplies.
We will have the following food & beverage vendors on-site:
There will be a limited amount of parking in the field on the grounds. When / if this fills up, you’ll have to park on the street so we really encourage everyone to carpool as much as possible (or walk or ride a bike or horse).
In the very unlikely case that someone will get hurt, we will have first-aid workers available.
We will have strong security guards around to protect you… but they can’t protect you from the sun so bring some sun screen.
There will be a few games like badminton and basketball available for you to play.
We will have a few fun activities for the kids – we just ask that they not take any rides on the alpacas. Parents will be responsible for their own children (sorry, no childcare provided).
You’ll be required to show some evidence that you’ve bought a ticket by either bringing in a printed copy of the receipt or else a digital copy on your mobile device. If you need to pay for a ticket at the gate we will have the ability for you to pay with either debit or credit card.
If you’re really stuck and forgot to hit the bank machine on your way over, we will have the ability for you to get cash at the cafe using your debit card.
If you have a nice, well-behaved dog, you can bring him/her/it as long as he/she/it stays on a leash. (BYOB – Bring Your Own Baggies and kindly use them to keep the grounds poop-free)
There aren’t any campsites available on the property during the festival but there’s a nice little spot just down the road if you have an RV called Apple Orchard RV Park. Otherwise, if you prefer tenting, there are a few places like Apple Valley Orchard which you may want to try.
We invite you to explore the grounds here at Bottega as it is set on 13 peaceful acres filled with pine & fruit trees with a working alpaca farm. We are incredibly fortunate to host such an exciting family-friendly event every year and throughout the year we like connect with community in a few different ways. Through our sister farm Little Church Organics on 3609 Gordon Drive we care for 5 acres of land including a cherry tree orchard a community gardens program where folks are able to purchase individual plots.
